Nan Cherry is single, a Buddhist and has High School education. She has a younger brother, and her father are both farmers, while mother is a housewife.

After her studies, she stayed home to help her parents and later worked in the retail sector to help supplement her family's income. She also looked after her frail 76-yo grandma with weak legs, and assisted her with the daily living needs. To better equip herself for a helper's role in SG, she took up a 5-month basic nursing training in Myanmar.

Nan Cherry is a warm-hearted, humble and caring young lady who can take care of the elderly; is patient and understanding. Though without childcare experience, she is willing to learn and to interact with them well. She can communicate adequately well in simple English, is teachable and keen to learn. She does not eat pork but can handle it.

She is currently in the training centre and is available for interview.
